Call now for an instant quote216-390-1234↗An aluminum frame is welded up, LEDs are laid out across the interior, and a face is fitted into the frame. The face is either a printed translucent panel or a routed aluminum sheet backed with acrylic so only the cut-out artwork lights up.
A routed and backed face is the more durable of the two. A printed face is cheaper to replace and easier to change when a menu or a phone number changes.
A cabinet does not have to be a rectangle. We cut the frame to follow a logo outline, so a circular badge reads as a circle and a custom mark keeps its silhouette. It costs more than a box and it is the difference between a sign that looks ordered from a catalogue and one that looks like it belongs to your business.
Most cabinets hang flat against the building above the entrance. A blade sign, sometimes called a projecting sign, mounts on a bracket perpendicular to the wall so it can be read by people walking along the sidewalk rather than driving past.
Blade signs are usually double faced, lit on both sides, and they are the right answer on a walkable street where a flat wall sign disappears.
A cabinet that has gone dark is often not a dead sign. Failed LED modules, a bad power supply, or a cracked face can all be replaced without rebuilding the cabinet. A face swap is also the standard move when a business changes hands and the box is still sound.
