What a channel letter actually is
Each letter is its own sealed enclosure. Aluminum returns form the sides, a trim cap holds the face to the returns, and LED modules light it from within. A letter is not a sticker or a cut shape. It is a small fabricated box in the outline of a character, wired and weatherproofed to hang outdoors for years.
Because every letter is built separately, the shape follows your logo instead of forcing your logo into a rectangle. Script, serifs, and custom marks all work.
Face-lit or halo-lit
A face-lit letter pushes light out through a translucent acrylic face. It reads brightest from a distance and is the standard for storefronts on a busy road.
A halo-lit letter, also called reverse channel, has a solid face and an open back. The light escapes behind the letter and washes the wall, so the letter reads as a dark silhouette in a glow. It is the more restrained look and it depends on having a wall worth lighting.

Raceway or flush mount
A raceway is a metal channel that carries the letters, the wiring, and the power supply as one unit. It mounts with fewer penetrations into the building and is often what a landlord or a permit will require.
Flush mounting sets each letter directly to the wall and hides the wiring inside the building. It is cleaner to look at and more involved to install.

Your business name as you want it to read, artwork or a logo file if you have one, a photo of the building, and a rough idea of how wide the space is. If you do not have artwork we can work from what you have.
